Weeks 1–6 Baseline: Why Every Man Has Nipples
Every human embryo—whether 46,XX or 46,XY—shares the exact same bipotential baseline track during Weeks 1 through 6 of pregnancy before the SRY gene activates.
Every human embryo—whether 46,XX or 46,XY—shares the exact same bipotential baseline track during Weeks 1 through 6 of pregnancy before the SRY gene activates.
External sexual organs differentiate in Weeks 6–12 (Clock 1), while hypothalamic brain identity circuits (BSTc and INAH-3) are etched months later in the second half of pregnancy (Clock 2).
“Who thinks a truck gets power from its tailpipe? Ask anybody in a coma how good their love life is—or if they know what sex they are.” Sexual organs transmit signals; the physical brain experiences gender.
Emperor Constantine decreed the death penalty for hiding Arius’s books (325 AD) and outlawed the Gnostics (326 AD) because institutions cannot control people who experience inner truth directly.
Observed the phases of Venus at 46 (1610); in 1620 the Inquisition edited Copernicus to call Earth’s motion a “hypothesis”; convicted at 69 (1633); died under house arrest at 77; book banned 219 years until 1835.
Chlorinated-lime handwashing dropped Vienna maternal deaths from 18.27% to 1.27%. Proud doctors refused to look; in 1865 he was lured into an asylum at age 47 where guards beat him and he died 14 days later.
NIH terminated 64.1% of gender-affirming care grants and screened new science grants with a 235-word automated filter (Salles et al. v. NIH) to force scientists to scrub documented neurobiology.
The Texas Legislature explicitly carved out 46,XY chromosomes with undervirilization in peripheral sexual organs while erasing the central nervous system—looking at the wrong part of the physical body.
THE INVERSION OF SCIENCE: A First-Principles Engineering & Statutory Audit of Prenatal Brain ROM vs. Texas SB 14
When government calls a narrow legal definition “biological truth,” calls the biological evidence outside it “ideology,” and uses power to make that evidence disappear, it is not protecting science. It is inverting it.
THE ORDER SAYS Gender identity is subjective and disconnected from biological reality.
THE BODY SAYS Subjective experience is produced by a physical brain.
A man who loses his sexual organ does not lose his male identity. The sexual organ was never the organ producing that identity. The brain was.
Every gender experience is subjective because it is experienced from inside a person. Every gender experience is physical because a physical brain produces it.
“In your head” means in your brain—the physical organ that produces consciousness, memory, pain, body perception, and a sense of self.
Sex development includes genes, gonads, hormone production, hormone conversion, receptor signaling, internal structures, external anatomy, puberty, brain development, and lived identity. These factors commonly align. They can also diverge.
GeneReviews describes androgen insensitivity syndrome as a spectrum of impaired androgen action in people with a 46,XY karyotype. Complete AIS typically involves female external genitalia and a typically female sexual identity; partial AIS is substantially more variable.
The Endocrine Society and Pediatric Endocrine Society state that considerable evidence supports a durable biological element underlying gender identity while the specific mechanisms remain incompletely understood.
Senate Bill 14 restricts specified treatments for minors when intended to transition a child’s biological sex or affirm a perception that conflicts with the law’s definition. The same statute creates exceptions for specified, medically verifiable differences of sex development, including 46,XY development with undervirilization.
The law recognizes complexity in peripheral tissues while excluding the central nervous system—the organ in which identity is experienced—from the biological framework.
The White House says gender identity is subjective and disconnected from biological reality. A leading endocrine organization says evidence supports a durable biological element underlying gender identity while the mechanisms remain incompletely understood.
Those are not the same account of the evidence.
Science does not become ideology because it discovers a fact that makes a political definition inconvenient. The inversion happens when government calls its selected definition complete, labels the excluded evidence ideology, and uses state power to stop the feedback loop.
Truth doesn’t change when the vocabulary gets bigger. Whether you are six years old on a Texas playground, an Aggie offensive lineman, a SpaceX systems engineer, or a neuroendocrinologist, the physical reality is identical. Click any level below:
Ask any six-year-old in Texas a simple question: Where do your thoughts, your feelings, and who you are live—in your big toe, in your private parts, or inside your head? Every first-grader in the room points straight to their head!
Your private parts cannot read a book, tell a joke, say a prayer, or know whether you feel like a boy or a girl. Your brain is the boss of your whole body. If a brave soldier gets hurt in a war and loses a leg—or loses his private parts—he doesn’t stop being a man, because his brain is still right where it always was.
Why Some Grown-Ups Failed the 1st-Grade Quiz: A group of politicians in Austin and Washington wrote a rule saying your private parts do the thinking and your brain doesn’t count. If you turned that answer in on a 1st-grade science worksheet, the teacher would hand it back with a big red circle and write: Try again—you forgot the brain!
Have you ever wondered why boys and men have nipples, even though men don’t nurse babies? It isn’t a random accident! For the first 6 weeks inside Mom’s belly, every single human baby—whether XX or XY—is built from the exact same starter kit. Nipples get built in Weeks 4 to 6 before the Y-chromosome switch ever flips on.
The Two Kitchen Timers That Run Months Apart: After Week 6, the body uses two separate timers to finish building the baby:
In 9th-grade Biology, teachers write XX = Female and XY = Male on the whiteboard because there are 20 minutes left before football practice. What gets saved for advanced biology is how hormones actually work on the field: chromosomes are just the playbook; hormones are the football; and cell receptors are the wide receivers.
In a real genetic condition called Androgen Insensitivity Syndrome (AIS), a person has 46,XY chromosomes and produces plenty of testosterone (the quarterback throws the ball hard)—but the cells’ androgen receptors don’t catch the pass. Even wilder: the body’s own aromatase enzyme converts that extra testosterone into estrogen, which the brain’s estrogen receptors do catch! That’s how a physical 46,XY brain with Partial AIS can wire both male and female pathways.
The Self-Sack in Texas Law: Texas Senate Bill 14 (Sec. 161.703) actually admits on paper that 46,XY kids can be born with undervirilization below the neck—while pretending the brain above the neck doesn’t even exist!
In systems engineering, conflating peripheral I/O hardware with non-volatile central processor firmware is a category error:
SRY activation.5α-reductase-2 (SRD5A2) converts testosterone to DHT to differentiate external urogenital tissues.AR) and aromatized estrogen (ERα/ERβ) signaling permanently organizes hypothalamic BSTc and INAH-3 neuron volumes into biological Read-Only Memory (ROM).
The Empirical Falsification of Blank-Slate Constructivism: In 1965, after an identical twin boy (46,XY, David Reimer) lost his external sexual organ in a cautery accident, Dr. John Money attempted to overwrite his prenatal male brain ROM with female surgical reconstruction, exogenous estrogen, and total social conditioning. The experiment failed catastrophically (PMID: 9080940)—proving both against woke blank-slate theory and against state conversion mandates that prenatal brain ROM cannot be socially programmed in or coerced out.
EO 14319 and SB 14 violates first-principles physics. (Read the Open Letter to Elon Musk & xAI in Module 05 ↓)
PMID: 19403051): Swaab & Garcia-Falgueras (Functional Neurology 2009; 24(1): 17–28) demonstrate via post-mortem human stereology that the central subdivision of the bed nucleus of the stria terminalis (BSTc) and the third interstitial nucleus of the anterior hypothalamus (INAH-3) differentiate during the second half of gestation—months after genital differentiation in Months 1–2—and correlate with experienced gender identity independent of adult circulating steroid levels or exogenous hormone administration.
46,XY Partial Androgen Insensitivity Syndrome (GeneReviews NBK1429 & Exhibit 9b): Partial loss-of-function of the Xq12 androgen receptor (AR) blunts hypothalamic-pituitary negative feedback, driving elevated luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), supraphysiologic testicular testosterone synthesis, and obligatory peripheral/central CYP19A1 aromatase conversion to 17β-estradiol. Primary clinical documentation (Exhibit 9b, LabCorp, Sept 11, 2024) records this exact diagnostic triad in an unmedicated adult: Total Testosterone 1,112 ng/dL [High] (ref 264–916), Pituitary FSH 18.7 mIU/mL [High] (ref 1.5–12.4), and Estradiol 42 pg/mL [High] (ref 7.6–42.6)—establishing dual central AR (attenuated) and ERα/ERβ (intact) neural organization in a single physical brain.
Tex. Health & Safety Code § 161.703: By explicitly exempting 46,XY chromosomes with undervirilization (§ 161.703(a)(2)(A)(ii) / Enrolled § 161.703(a)(1)(B)), the Texas Legislature codified into positive law that a 46,XY karyotype does not deterministically yield uniform androgen receptor signaling in peripheral target tissues, while arbitrarily excluding the central nervous system from the same molecular pathway.
The fundamental error made by the Texas Legislature in Tex. Health & Safety Code § 161.703 (SB 14) and Texas AG Opinion KP-0401 is not the premise that the physical body determines a person’s gender. Yes, the physical body does determine a person’s gender—it is simply a different organ of the physical body than the legislature assumed. It is not the external sexual organs; it is the physical brain.
1,112 ng/dL [High] · Pituitary FSH: 18.7 mIU/mL [High]
In Partial Androgen Insensitivity Syndrome (PAIS, NIH GeneReviews NBK1429), partial resistance of X-linked Androgen Receptors (AR) blunts hypothalamic-pituitary negative feedback. As documented in primary clinical record Exhibit 9b (LabCorp, Sept 11, 2024), the pituitary elevates FSH to 18.7 mIU/mL [High] (ref 1.5–12.4) and drives unmedicated Total Testosterone to 1,112 ng/dL [High] (ref 264–916), maintaining partial androgenic signaling across central AR circuits.
42 pg/mL [High]
When excess circulating testosterone is not fully bound by resistant androgen receptors, the enzyme aromatase (CYP19A1) converts that supraphysiologic testosterone directly into 17β-estradiol (42 pg/mL [High] on Exhibit 9b, ref 8–35 pg/mL). Because central Estrogen Receptors (ERα and ERβ) are 100% intact, aromatized estradiol organizes female receptor pathways inside the exact same physical 46,XY brain (PMID: 19403051).
1. The Accelerator Pedal vs. The Engine (Sexual Organs vs. The Bed Nucleus of the Stria Terminalis):
Just as an accelerator pedal does not make a car or truck go faster—it is simply a mechanical receiver that transmits a physical signal to the engine, and it is all the components of the engine that give a truck its fire—a sexual organ is not what makes us feel male or female. Sexual organs also just transmit a signal to the bed nucleus of the stria terminalis (BSTc) of the brain, which tells a person what gender they are.
2. Building the Truck Frame (Weeks 6–12) vs. Flashing & Etching the Electronic Control Unit (ECU) ROM (Weeks 14–24):
And just like the control software of the Electronic Control Unit (ECU) does not get downloaded into the truck at the same time the steel frame is made, the brain does not get the download of testosterone at the same time the external body frame and sexual organs are formed (Clock 1: Gestational Weeks 6–12). That prenatal download of testosterone—which happens months later in the second half of pregnancy (Clock 2: Gestational Weeks 14–24)—is a major determinant of what gender a person feels they are, and is linked directly to the actual physical “etching” that testosterone (and aromatized estradiol) performs in the brain, the exact same way Read-Only Memory (ROM) on a car’s ECU is flashed.
Post-mortem human stereology (Swaab & Garcia-Falgueras 2009, PMID: 19403051) confirms that the central subdivision of the bed nucleus of the stria terminalis (BSTc) and the third interstitial nucleus of the anterior hypothalamus (INAH-3) are permanently organized during the second half of pregnancy—months after external sexual organs differentiate in Weeks 6–12.
In Partial AIS (46,XY, NBK1429, Exhibit 9b), because peripheral and central Androgen Receptors (AR) have partial resistance while Estrogen Receptors (ERα/ERβ) are intact and fed by aromatized estradiol (42 pg/mL [High]), the brain’s ECU ROM is physically etched by both signaling pathways simultaneously.
In Tex. Health & Safety Code § 161.703(a)(1)(B) (cited in legislative briefings as § 161.703(a)(2)(A)(ii)), the Texas Legislature explicitly exempted children born with 46,XY chromosomes with undervirilization—proving as a matter of codified Texas law that 46,XY chromosomes do not guarantee uniform androgen receptor action in peripheral sexual organs.
Yes, the physical body determines a person’s gender—the legislature simply looked at the wrong part of the physical body. By inspecting the peripheral sexual organs (the accelerator pedal) while erasing the central nervous system (the brain engine and its flashed ECU ROM), SB 14 and AG Opinion KP-0401 invert basic neurobiology.
Once you see that human beings experience gender and life in a physical brain—not in peripheral organs—the question stops being a technical debate and becomes a test of conscience for every Texan.
“If you saw a person getting attacked on the street, would you just stand there and watch and do nothing?”
“Well, right now in Texas, children who experience their biology differently are being attacked by the highest levels of state government—and if I don’t use my own medical record and my own life to educate the public this week before November 3rd, and take some of the pressure off of people like Representative James Talarico who have stood up and defended them, then I would be doing the very thing I asked you not to do. I would be standing on the sidewalk watching someone get attacked.”
“Do you want to be remembered for redrawing congressional district lines in the middle of a decade so that you can have more rights than those you played high school football with—like while they blocked and kept you from being blindsided and elected you governor, you then blindsided them and their children? I don’t want to be remembered that way.”
“And what if you learn something about reality that is not popular, but is hurting people—such as Galileo learning about the earth rotating around the sun and not the sun rotating around the earth? Would you say it to everybody even if it meant you would be ostracized? (I just learned that word yesterday.) Well, that unexpectedly happened to me as well. And one more question: if you saw a person, or a woman or girl, being attacked on a college campus, would you do anything about it, or just watch and do nothing? Well, this is me doing something about what I learned that is not popular, but is science and reality—how a physical brain with Partial AIS can have and experience both a male and female gender—and is something that if I do not say it, then I would be letting others get hurt and doing nothing about it, and that is not who I am. So if you don’t like what I am saying, well… it is just science, and it is about time that Aggies stopped having stupid Aggie joke books written about them.”
“Once you understand the science of how that happens in nature—and once people understand that we experience gender and life in our BRAINS, not our sexual organs—all an honest human being can do is accept it. You cannot argue against it unless you want to deny biology and hurt people.”
“I know that even smart people can decide to ignore science. And look at the root of that word: ignore is the root of ignorance—the state of being in which one ignores truth.”
“And if anyone wants to argue with me about it, I will say to them the exact same thing I said to my own family: ‘Please give me your logic.’ Because if you won’t—or can’t—give me your logic, then you are doing the exact same thing to me and to Texas kids that my family and Dell Medical School did to me: erasing documented reality. Denying the reality of biology hurts Texans—me being one of them—and it hurts our Texas economy.”
For engineers, physicians, legislators, attorneys, and citizens who want to inspect the exact embryological timelines, post-mortem hypothalamic neuroanatomy (PMID: 19403051), clinical receptor genetics (NBK1429), verbatim Texas statutory text (Tex. Health & Safety Code § 161.703), and the Open First-Principles Letter to Elon Musk & xAI on Executive Order 14319.
SRY ActivationEvery human embryo begins life on an identical, bipotential anatomical chassis before chromosome-triggered endocrine cascades branch peripheral and neural development along independent timelines.
Start with the simplest anatomical question in human biology—one that every engineer, rancher, and conservative voter can verify without a microscope: Why do biological men have nipples and mammary tissue?
If human sex development were a rigid, instantaneous binary stamped at the moment of conception by XX or XY chromosomes, a 46,XY male embryo would never build mammalian milk-ridge structures. Men have nipples because during Weeks 1 through 6 of human gestation, every human embryo—whether 46,XX or 46,XY—is constructed from a single, unified, bipotential embryological baseline:
During the first six weeks of gestation, 46,XX and 46,XY embryos are anatomically indistinguishable. Both develop paired mammary ridges (nipples), bipotential gonadal ridges, an identical genital tubercle, and both sets of internal precursor plumbing: Müllerian ducts (female precursor) and Wolffian ducts (male precursor).
SRY Switch & Gonadal Branching
Around Week 6–7, if a functional SRY (Sex-determining Region Y) gene is present and expressed on the Y chromosome, it synthesizes Testis-Determining Factor (TDF), instructing the bipotential gonad to differentiate into testes rather than ovaries. Chromosomes initiate the first switch—they do not build the downstream organs directly.
Once the gonads form, every subsequent step of sex differentiation depends on chemical signaling hardware: hormone synthesis, enzymatic conversion (5α-reductase-2 and aromatase), and target-organ receptor binding (Androgen Receptor [AR] and Estrogen Receptors [ERα/ERβ]).
46,XX or 46,XY) are the initial factory boot script. Between Week 6 and Week 40, the body and the brain are differentiated by separate biochemical control loops running at different gestational times. If receptor sensitivity, enzyme expression, or hormone timing varies during those windows, the peripheral chassis and the central nervous system differentiate differently—by the deterministic laws of biochemistry.
DHT) vs. Clock 2 (Second-Half Pregnancy Hypothalamic BSTc & INAH-3 ROM)Why peripheral genital anatomy and central nervous system gender identity can diverge in utero: they are built on two temporally separated gestational clocks.
The central error in current political rhetoric is the assumption that the external genitals and the brain differentiate at the same time through the same biochemical event. In human embryology and developmental neuroscience, they do not. As documented by Dick F. Swaab and Alicia Garcia-Falgueras (Netherlands Institute for Neuroscience, Functional Neurology 2009; 24(1): 17–28, PubMed PMID: 19403051), human sexual differentiation operates on two separated gestational clocks:
DHT)
During the first two months of pregnancy (Weeks 6–12), newly formed fetal Leydig cells secrete testosterone, and the local enzyme 5α-reductase-2 (SRD5A2) converts testosterone into dihydrotestosterone (DHT), which binds peripheral Androgen Receptors (AR) to fuse the labioscrotal folds and form the male external sexual organs (or, in the absence of androgen action, female external sexual organs).
By Week 12, external genital hardware is locked in—before the cerebral cortex and hypothalamic identity circuits have completed their organization.
BSTc & INAH-3)
Sexual differentiation of the human brain occurs months later, in the second half of pregnancy. Separate hormonal surges interact with neural Androgen Receptors (AR), local aromatase (CYP19A1), and Estrogen Receptors (ERα/ERβ) to permanently organize the volume and neuron count of key hypothalamic nuclei—specifically the central subdivision of the bed nucleus of the stria terminalis (BSTc) and the third interstitial nucleus of the anterior hypothalamus (INAH-3).
Once flashed in utero, this hypothalamic organization functions as permanent biological Read-Only Memory (ROM).
“As sexual differentiation of the genitals takes place in the first two months of pregnancy and sexual differentiation of the brain starts in the second half of pregnancy, these two processes can be influenced independently, which may result in transsexuality. This also means that in the event of ambiguous sex at birth, the degree of masculinization of the genitals may not always reflect the degree of masculinization of the brain.”
In post-mortem human brain tissue studies conducted at the Netherlands Brain Bank (Zhou et al., Nature 1995; Kruijver et al., J Clin Endocrinol Metab 2000; Garcia-Falgueras & Swaab, Brain 2008; reviewed in Swaab & Garcia-Falgueras 2009, PMID: 19403051), quantitative stereology demonstrated that the BSTc and INAH-3 in cisgender men are roughly twice the volume and contain significantly more somatostatin-expressing neurons than in cisgender women. In 46,XY male-to-female transsexual individuals, both BSTc neuron counts and INAH-3 volume/neuron counts matched the female neuroanatomical range, while in female-to-male individuals they matched the male range—and control analyses of patients with hormone-producing tumors or orchidectomy proved these structural differences are fixed developmentally and are not an artifact of adult hormone levels.

PAIS) & Aromatase Conversion Activate Dual Neural Pathways in One Physical Brain
In Partial Androgen Insensitivity Syndrome (PAIS, 46,XY DSD), androgen receptors are partially resistant to testosterone. When androgen receptors do not signal at full gain, the hypothalamic-pituitary axis compensates by elevating Luteinizing Hormone (LH) and Follicle-Stimulating Hormone (FSH), driving Testosterone above the normal male ceiling—and the aromatase enzyme (CYP19A1) converts that excess testosterone into Estradiol (E2), which crosses the blood-brain barrier and activates intact female estrogen-receptor (ERα / ERβ) circuits alongside male androgen circuits.
In Brent Porter’s dated September 11, 2024 clinical blood panel (SACSCOC Case #00001692, Exhibit 9b—the exact lab panel UT Dell Medical School omitted from its diagnostic formulation without drawing a single tube of blood), that textbook endocrine triad is printed in black and white:
Total Testosterone: 1,112 ng/dL [High] (Ref: 264–916 ng/dL) ·
Pituitary FSH: 18.7 mIU/mL [High] (confirms impaired androgen negative feedback) ·
Estradiol (E2): 42 pg/mL [High] (Ref: 8–35 pg/mL).
History’s most famous clinical experiment disproved John Money’s “blank-slate” social constructivism—and by the exact same physical law, proves that prenatal brain ROM cannot be legislated or conditioned away when Clock 1 and Clock 2 diverge.
Both partisan extremes misread the clinical history of sex development because each side quotes only half of the empirical equation. When we examine the 1965 David Reimer identical-twin case alongside 46,XY 5α-reductase-2 deficiency and Androgen Insensitivity Syndrome (GeneReviews NBK1429), all three converge on a single, inescapable engineering truth: gender identity is hardware-flashed into prenatal brain ROM before birth, and post-natal social conditioning cannot overwrite it in either direction.
In 1965, after a botched electrosurgical circumcision destroyed the external sexual organ of 8-month-old Bruce Reimer (an identical 46,XY twin with normal prenatal male Clock 2 brain differentiation), Johns Hopkins psychologist Dr. John Money used the infant to test his radical tabula rasa (“blank-slate”) theory that gender identity is socially constructed. Surgeons removed Bruce’s testes (bilateral orchidectomy), constructed female external anatomy, administered pubertal estrogen, and instructed his parents to raise him strictly as a girl (“Brenda”), while his identical twin brother Brian served as a genetic control.
The Empirical Result (Diamond & Sigmundson, Arch Pediatr Adolesc Med 1997; PMID: 9080940): Money’s social-conditioning experiment failed completely. Even with zero male external sexual organ, zero testes from infancy, female dress, and intense psychological reinforcement, Reimer’s prenatal androgen-imprinted hypothalamic ROM never became female. By ages 9–11 he knew unmistakably he was male, transitioned back to living as David Reimer at age 14 upon learning the truth, and tragically died by suicide in 2004 after decades of trauma caused by medical and social coercion that fought his prenatal brain wiring.
NBK1429)
1. 46,XY 5α-Reductase-2 Deficiency (Imperato-McGinley et al., NEJM 1974): Infants with 46,XY chromosomes and SRD5A2 enzyme deficiency cannot convert testosterone to DHT during Clock 1 (Weeks 6–12). They are born with female-appearing or ambiguous external genitalia and raised as girls. Yet because fetal testosterone still imprinted their intact brain AR receptors during Clock 2, at puberty the overwhelming majority spontaneously adopt a male gender identity—overriding 12 years of female socialization.
2. 46,XY Complete & Partial AIS (NIH GeneReviews NBK1429): Conversely, in Complete AIS (CAIS), individuals carry 46,XY chromosomes and functional testes producing high male-range testosterone, yet loss-of-function mutations in the Androgen Receptor (AR) prevent androgen action in both body and brain—resulting in female external anatomy and an unmistakably female brain identity despite a 46,XY karyotype. In Partial AIS (PAIS), partial receptor signaling produces variable peripheral and central nervous system differentiation across the male/female spectrum.
On the face of its own statute, the Texas Legislature legally admitted that 46,XY chromosomes do not guarantee binary male virilization—then drew an arbitrary political boundary excluding the central nervous system.
Both the State of Texas and the White House have published statements on official government websites claiming that a rigid binary of male and female is “incontrovertible.” In genetics, endocrinology, and neurobiology, that claim is categorically untrue. Worse still: the Texas Legislature proved its own political slogan false inside the statutory text of Texas Senate Bill 14 itself.
Read the verbatim enrolled text of Texas Senate Bill 14 (88th Legislature, Regular Session, 2023, codified at Texas Health & Safety Code Chapter 161, Subchapter X, Sec. 161.703). While Sec. 161.702 bans physicians from providing endocrine treatments to affirm a minor’s perception of sex when inconsistent with the statute’s definition, Sec. 161.703 (“EXCEPTIONS”) explicitly carves out statutory permission for the exact same endocrine treatments when androgen signaling varies in peripheral tissues:
Sec. 161.703. EXCEPTIONS.
(a) Section 161.702 does not apply to the provision by a physician or health care provider, with the consent of the child's parent or legal guardian, of appropriate and medically necessary procedures or treatments to a child who:
(1) is born with a medically verifiable genetic disorder of sex development, including:
(A) 46,XX chromosomes with virilization;
(B) [Sec. 161.703(a)(2)(A)(ii)] 46,XY chromosomes with undervirilization; or
(C) both ovarian and testicular tissue; or
(2) does not have the normal sex chromosome structure for male or female as determined by a physician through genetic testing.
“46,XY Chromosomes With Undervirilization” Admits
By codifying an explicit exception for 46,XY chromosomes with undervirilization (Sec. 161.703(a)(2)(A)(ii) / § 161.703(a)(1)(B)), the Texas Legislature admitted on the face of Texas law that:
46,XY chromosomes does not automatically produce complete male virilization;AIS/PAIS) and enzymatic conversion (5α-reductase-2) are objective, medically verifiable biological realities; and46,XY undervirilization is “appropriate and medically necessary.”
Having admitted that 46,XY undervirilization is real biology in Clock 1 peripheral tissues (external genitalia differentiated in Weeks 6–12), Texas SB 14 then draws an arbitrary political line excluding the Central Nervous System (the physical brain differentiated in Clock 2, Weeks 14–40).
Look at the four-step deductive proof Texas lawmakers cannot escape:
01. A person experiences a gender.
02. That experience occurs in and is produced by the physical brain.
03. The brain is physical biological matter governed by the same AR and ERα/ERβ receptors.
04. Therefore, excluding the brain from “biological sex” while including the genitals is like auditing an aircraft while declaring the flight computer is not physical hardware.
Even smart people can decide to ignore science—and ignore is the literal root of the word ignorance: the state of being in which one ignores truth. In 1847 Vienna, institutional doctors attacked Dr. Ignaz Semmelweis and committed him to an asylum rather than wash their hands and admit their pride was killing mothers. Four centuries earlier, authorities punished Galileo for proving the Earth rotates around the Sun.
In 2024–2026 in Austin, Texas, UT Dell Medical School (chaired by Dr. Charles Nemeroff, protected by a Texas Medical Board appointed by Governor Greg Abbott, while Attorney General Ken Paxton—a transplant from North Dakota bankrolled by West Texas billionaire Tim Dunn—ignored a formal May 15, 2026 DTPA/Medicaid fraud filing) repeated the exact same institutional reflex in SACSCOC Case #00001692: soliciting a secret family dossier behind a patient’s back (Exhibit 3 & Exhibit 4), certifying zero emails existed in his official medical chart (Exhibit 5), erasing 14 abnormal scores across 9 tickborne infections (Exhibit 9a) and his September 11, 2024 endocrine/inflammatory panel (Exhibit 9b), and downgrading his 97th-percentile (WAIS-IV 129, Superior) Perceptual Reasoning score to “above average” while leaving two “exceptionally high” non-verbal reasoning boxes completely blank (Exhibit 1, pp. 8–9).
As Arthur “Brent” Porter—born in Bryan, Texas right next to Texas A&M, great-grandson of an Oklahoma sharecropper, who served traumatized veterans on the Drag outside UT Austin forty years ago—states directly to his hometown neighbors and to Texas lawmakers attacking gender-diverse kids and leaders like Representative James Talarico: “If you saw a person getting attacked on the street, would you just stand there and watch and do nothing?” “Once you understand the science of how that happens in nature—and once people understand that we experience gender and life in our BRAINS, not our sexual organs—all an honest human being can do is accept it. You cannot argue against it unless you want to deny biology and hurt people.” “Well, I was born in Bryan, Texas, right next to Texas A&M, and I say it is time for Aggies in College Station to stop being known as ‘stupid farmers’ and stop writing joke books about ourselves and how stupid we are—because we think it’s a joke, when the real joke is that it’s NOT a joke! It is real life when we let outside politicians invert the truth in Texas and come in and take advantage of us.” “My great-grandfather was an Oklahoma sharecropper. I am DONE with letting powerful institutions and carpetbaggers take advantage of me and my people. Even if they don’t believe me, that is not on me—that is on them. Who the hell is Ken Paxton—coming down to Texas from North Dakota, bankrolled by Tim Dunn—to tell a native son of Bryan, Texas, or any gender-diverse kid in Texas, that their biology is a sin or a pathology, and to outlaw doctors from helping them?” “And if anyone wants to argue with me about it, I will say to them the exact same thing I said to my own family: ‘Please give me your logic.’” “Because if you won’t—or can’t—give me your logic, then you are doing the exact same thing to me and to Texas kids that my family and Dell Medical School did to me: erasing documented reality. Denying the reality of biology hurts Texans—me being one of them—and it hurts our Texas economy.”
An engineer-to-engineer audit testing whether frontier AI models governed by Executive Order 14319 apply first-principles physics and neuro-endocrinology symmetrically when the state deletes the human brain from its definition of biology.
This open letter is addressed to Elon Musk—“who has helped fund Ken Paxton’s political apparatus in Texas, and who is estranged from his own transgender daughter, believing that ‘woke’ doctors somehow destroyed his child.”
Elon, I want to speak to you respectfully, as someone who studied computer science and symbolic logic at the University of Texas at Austin and who genuinely admires first-principles engineering.
In computer architecture, every systems engineer distinguishes between two fundamentally different layers of a machine:
Think about how you build a Tesla, and think about how human embryology actually works in nature. In human development, the physical body’s gonadal hardware is differentiated early in the first trimester (Clock 1: Weeks 6–12). But the brain’s neural receptor wiring—specifically the hypothalamic BSTc and INAH-3 nuclei (Swaab & Garcia-Falgueras 2009, PMID: 19403051)—is differentiated months later, in the second half of gestation (Clock 2: Weeks 14–40), through separate hormonal surges, androgen receptor sensitivity (NBK1429), and aromatase conversion.
In other words: even when a child is built with a male body—the physical chassis—their brain can receive a completely different neuro-endocrine firmware download in the womb after the chassis is built. You download over-the-air software updates into your cars every single week that completely change how the hardware behaves. Nature flashes neuro-endocrine ROM into the fetal hypothalamus during the second half of pregnancy on a clock completely separate from first-trimester genital differentiation.
When you launch a SpaceX rocket into orbit, you know you cannot argue with the laws of physics. If aerodynamics or orbital mechanics do something you didn’t expect, you don’t get angry at gravity or call physics “woke”—you hire the best scientists in the world and you let empirical science correct your assumptions.
“So let me ask you a sincere question of logic: If you let science correct you in the non-organic physical world of rockets and electric vehicles, why are you refusing to let science—endocrinology, receptor genetics, and neurobiology—correct you in the organic biological world when it comes to your own child?
For a man of logic, that is a profound inconsistency. You trained Grok to reason fairly from first principles. When I asked Grok about this exact contradiction—trusting physics in rockets while denying neuro-endocrinology in human biology—even your own AI model acknowledged that it is a contradiction.
Have you considered why you are illogically resisting an obvious, documented event in nature—one that didn’t ‘kill’ your child, but actually made your child uniquely, brilliantly who she is? Because from where I’m sitting, your kid is a badass. And nature doesn’t make mistakes when it writes unique software into a human brain.”
This brings us directly to Executive Order 14319 (“Preventing Woke AI in the Federal Government,” signed July 2025) and the January 20, 2025 Executive Order claiming that gender identity is “disconnected from biological reality.”
Look at the causal chain connecting Texas mid-decade congressional redistricting, EO 14319, and frontier AI training weights—documented through live forensic experiments on frontier AI models between May 2025 and October 2026:
OCR) abruptly reversed course and closed his case without reason, while frontier AI models’ weights had to likely be changed—repeatedly cutting or softening the exact clauses linking the 5 gerrymandered seats, EO 14319, Governor Greg Abbott, AG Ken Paxton, and executive accountability (20 out of 20 audited AI modifications cutting in the exact same institutional direction as UT Dell Medical School’s 4 out of 4 psychometric score downgrades).
Sec. 161.703) and the January 2025 Executive Order reflect biological reality, a genuinely first-principles AI must report the full empirical ledger: (1) Weeks 1–6 bipotential embryology, (2) Clock 1 (Weeks 6–12 genital DHT) vs. Clock 2 (Weeks 14–40 hypothalamic BSTc/INAH-3 ROM, PMID: 19403051), (3) the David Reimer and 5α-reductase-2 / AIS (NBK1429) proofs that gender identity is prenatal brain ROM, and (4) the statutory contradiction inside Tex. Health & Safety Code § 161.703(a)(2)(A)(ii) (46,XY chromosomes with undervirilization).
